AFTER MY "AWWWESOME" & FUN WEEKEND... IT WAS TIME TO GET BACK ON TRACK WITH MY "SPARTAN RACE TRAINING" WITH AN ADDED SPECIAL BONUS FOR FUN. I ACCEPTED TO PARTICIPATE IN A "5 DAY CLEAN EATING CHALLENGE" FROM MY "TEAM BEACHBODY" COACH, ANGELA!!!
So, for the next 5 days, please try your best to avoid these foods:
Sugar (fruits and vegetables and Shakeology are ok), gluten (wheat, rye, spelt, bulgar, semolina, couscous), soy, alcohol, dairy (milk, cheese, yogurt, cottage cheese).
. I will post the meal plan for each day the night before. You will have a grocery list that you can pick up today or tomorrow and then just follow the simple meals each day. Who said this wouldn’t be a little exciting?
. You will probably be hungry but if you are seriously fatigued then you might double up on your snacks. Don’t give in to large portions though…your body might be detoxing a little and some fatigue is normal for the first few days. Drink at least half your body weight in OUNCES of water every day, more if possible. For example, if you weigh 140 lbs, your target is 70 ounces of water a day. I typically do 120 ounces a day and I weigh 115. What you think is hunger might be dehydration. Do NOT restrict calories like this after the 5 day group is over. You are a machine so you need to fuel it for longer workout programs.
. You need to commit to 30 minutes of movement all 5 days. Come on, you can do it! I'll be sharing a move a day for you to try, in case you don't have a regular program that you're doing right now.
. HAVE FUN!!!! You are committing to post every day to this group but enjoy the process. It’s ONLY 5 days. You can do it! We'll have a picture posting contest everyday, cause we LOVE pictures!!! I will choose a winner every day to win a packet of Shakeology, so post, post, post!!!
. Take your BEFORE pictures and measurements! You'll be glad you did!

I KNOW... I KNOW... I KNOW... I MADE THE MISTAKE OF EATING "WHEAT" WHICH IS NOT PART OF THE "5 DAY CLEAN EATING CHALLENGE"... BUT NOW I KNOW.
I THEN HIT MY WORKOUTS...
AS SOON AS I WAS DONE... I HIT MY POST WORKOUT SHAKE!!!
AND THEN I PREPARED MY DINNER TO EAT AT WORK!!!
CHICKEN & SPINACH!!!

I WOKE UP AND HEADED OUT TO MY "STEP AEROBICS" CLASS!!!
RIGHT AFTER CLASS... I HEADED OVER TO THE STORE TO SOME CLEAN FOODS SHOPPING...
AND FOR BREAKFAST...
STEEL CUT OATS WITH 100% NATURAL PEANUT BUTTER!!!
THEN I HIT MY "STRENGTH TRAINING" WORKOUTS!!!
AND ANOTHER WHEY PROTEIN/CREATINE COMBO POST WORKOUT SHAKE!!!
AND FOR DINNER... AGAIN, IT WAS CHICKEN & SPINACH... I CAN'T HELP IT BUT LOVE MY CHICKEN AND SPINACH... LOL!!!

I WOKE AND HEADED OVER TO THE POST OFFICE!!!
I PASSED MY SUMMER "TIRE TRAINING GROUNDS"... HOW I MISS IT SO MUCH, I CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT SUMMER!!!

TASTE PRETTY YUMMY FOR A REPLACEMENT MEAL SHAKE!!!
THEN IT WAS TIME FOR MY "JUMP ROPE CONDITIONING CLASS!!!"
AND IT WAS MORE LIKE "CROSSFIT DRILLS" INSTEAD... LOL!!!
BUT IT WAS GOOD AND I WORKED UP A SWEAT!!!
AFTER A GOOD GRUELING WORKOUT... I REWARDED MY SELF TO A MOVIE WITH MY OHANA!!!
WE WATCHED THE FILM, "ANNABELLE"... I AM A HUGE FAN OF HORROR FILMS... IT WASN'T AS SCARY AS I WAS HOPING FOR BUT I DID ENJOY THE STORYLINE.

I WOKE UP EARLY IN THE MORNING AND TOOK A "SHAKEOLOGY" DRINK FOR BREAKFAST AND WENT ON MY WAY TO "STEP AEROBICS" CLASS!!!
COACH DAWN WAS OUT FOR "BLOOD"... LOL!!! SHE WAS IN "NO MERCY" MODE!!! GEEZ... LOOK AT THE SWEAT ON THE YOGA MAT!!!
IN RECOVERY MODE BEFORE I HEAD OVER TO MY HOUSE TO START MY "STRENGTH TRAINING" WORKOUTS!!!
RIGHT AFTER THAT IT WAS ANOTHER POST WORKOUT SHAKE AND SOME SNACKS!!!
HUMMUS & CARROTS!!!
DAMN... LOOK MY CALVES... THEY ARE GETTING SCARY... LOL!!!
AND FOR TONIGHT'S DINNER... CHICKEN & SWEET POTATOES & YELLOW SQUASH!!!
