MY INTRO

ALOHA AND WELCOME TO MY PERSONAL BLOG!!! I THOUGHT WHY NOT SHARE MY PERSONAL GAINS & STRUGGLES THAT LIFE PUTS OUT TO EACH AND ONE OF US. I FEEL THAT THROUGH THE GIFT OF "GIVING & SHARING", THERE IS NO WAY BETTER THAN START THIS BLOG WHICH IS ALL ABOUT ME, MY OHANA (FAMILY), HOALOHA (FRIENDS), AND EVEN ENEMIES WHICH ARE THE VERY ONES I NEED TO LOVE AND ACCEPT.


I'LL SAY THIS STRAIGHT UP, I DON'T HOLD BACK MY FEELINGS FOR ANYONE AND IT'LL COME OUT OF MY MOUTH ON HOW I FEEL ABOUT YOU AND OTHERS. I DON'T GO BEHIND ANYONE'S BACK AND START RUMOURS WITH HOPES THAT IT WILL CIRCLE AROUND AND FINALLY HIT ITS TARGET. WHY TAKE THE LONG ROUTE WHEN I CAN GO STRAIGHT TO THE POINT. PERSONALLY, I THINK THAT IS THE "REAL" WAY OF LIVING LIFE, "BE REAL" AT ALL TIMES EVEN WHEN THE WORLD IS WATCHING.


ON THE OTHER NOTE, "I AM" THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE FROM THE WAY "I SEE IT". I AM NOT SPEAKING FROM OTHER PEOPLE'S FEEDBACK OR "CONCEITEDNESS". "THIS IS" WHAT I CHOOSE TO SEE MYSELF EVERYDAY WHEN I WAKE UP FROM MY BED AND THANK "AKUA" (GOD) FOR GIVING ME ONE MORE DAY TO LIVE, REGARDLESS OF REGRETS FROM THE "YESTERDAYS" TO THE FEARS OF "TOMMOROWS".


IN MY EYES, LIVING A "BEAUTIFUL LIFE" CAN ONLY BE ATTAINED BY "CHOICE" AND IT REQUIRES "INTEGRITY", "HONESTY", "UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE", "FORGIVENESS" AND MOST IMPORTANTLY, "LOVE".


AS MY BEAUTIFUL ANCESTORS HAVED ALWAYS BELIEVED:

WHICH MEANS, RECOGNIZE OTHERS, BE RECOGNIZED, HELP OTHERS, BE HELPED; SUCH IS A FAMILY RELATIONSHIP.

B.V.E.S.A. ANNUAL MEMORIAL GARAGE SALE - BETHEL, ALASKA!!!

ALOHA EVERYONE!!!

THE BETHEL VOLUNTEER EMERGENCY SERVICES ASSOCIATION ONCE AGAIN HOSTED A SUCCESSFUL "MEMORIAL GARAGE SALE".

GREAT FOODS, GREAT STUFFS FOR SALE, AND WHAT A WAY TO WELCOME IN THE SUMMER OF 2013!!!

MANY THANKS to everyone who came to the BFD/BVESA Annual garage sale June 1. Thanks to all of you, we raised about $3200 for the Emergency Services Association. This money goes directly back to the community through the Association's efforts. In the past, we have provided funds for:

- fire victims
- playground equipment and upkeep
- financial support for extra-curricular activities for kids (Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts, Academic trips, Sport trips, etc)
- Teen Center equipment
- Smoke Detectors (sold to the public at cost)
- Free replacement batteries for your smoke detectors
- and many more community events

BVESA (Bethel VOLUNTEER Emergency Services Association) works with the Bethel Fire Department staff to provide emergency services (Ambulance and Fire response) to the citizens of Bethel. If you see these people, please show your appreciation for their service:

Arthur Kaiwa Freitas, Joey Valadez, Thor Williams, Casey Burke, Brandon K Waipa, Kevin/ Susan Murphy, Isaiah and Sarah Peters (THANKS for the CAKE!), Bruce Claypool, Carey M Steele, Ryan Autenrieth (the money man!), Kyle Inman, Brian Knutson, Craig Rogers, Anne Kosacheff, Josh Hoffman, Eric Hill, Frederick Watson,  George Young, Bill Howell,, Daron Solesbee, Silas Hessler.
In addition, we would like to thank North Star Gas for the donation of the (3) propane tanks used to grill the meat BVESA sold at the fire station. Many thanks for their support.
