I'M BACK TO WORKING OUT... SICK OR NOT HERE I COME!!!

ALOHA EVERYONE!!!

AFTER A SICKLY WEEKEND WITH THE FLU...  MISSING ALL MY WORKOUTS ON SATURDAY & SUNDAY...  IT WASN'T A FUN FEELING AT ALL.  LYING IN BED FEELING POWERLESS AND HELPLESS...  LOL...  I HATE IT WHEN I'M COUGHING, BODY ACHES AND CHILLS, RASPY SORE THROAT, AND STUFFY SINUSES...  BLAHHH!!!

I FORCED MYSELF TO SLEEP UP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND DRINKING LOTS OF WATER...  

MONDAY MORNING...  I STILL WAS FEELING ILL...  BUT I COULDN'T STAND IT ANYMORE AND I FORCED MYSELF TO GET OUT OF BED AND CONTINUE ON WITH MY WORKOUTS!!!

FIRST THING FIRST...



MAN WAS I PRETTY WEAK AND OUT OF IT...  BUT I KEPT PUSHING MYSELF AND BY THE END OF BOTH WORKOUTS, I STARTED TO FEEL BETTER OVERALL.

ALSO FOR THIS WEEK, I STARTED ANOTHER TEAM CHALLENGE AT WORK FOR MY CO-WORKERS...

WAIPA'S "45 MINUTES OF I LOVE CARDIO!!!" TEAM CHALLENGE!!!

FOR THE NEXT 5 DAYS THE FOLLOWING NEEDS TO BE COMPLETED IN ANY ORDER:

15 MINUTES - STATIONARY BIKE/ELLIPTICAL
15 MINUTES RUNNING/WALKING
15 MINUTES - JUMP ROPES/JUMPING JACKS

ALL OF THESE CAN BE MODIFIED PER INDIVIDUAL'S ABILITY TO AVOID INJURIES!!!

AND THAT PRETTY MUCH SUMS IT UP!!!  I WAS VERY HAPPY TO SEE NINE PEOPLE SIGNED UP!!!

SO DAY ONE WAS "AWESOME"...  I GOT TO DO MINES WITH MY CLIENTS AND IT WAS PRETTY CHALLENGING FOR SOME...  I THINK FOR SOME, "CARDIO" IS NOT TAKEN AS SERIOUSLY AS "WEIGHT/STRENGTH TRAINING"...  ALTHOUGH IT SHOULD!!!


I GOT 3 CO-WORKERS WHO ARE OUT OF TOWN FOR WORK-RELATED TRAININGS AND THEY ALL TEXTED ME LASTNIGHT THAT THEY HAVE COMPLETED THEIR CARDIO CHALLENGE FOR THE DAY!!!

AS FOR ME...  I HAVEN'T RAN FOR SOME TIME AND RUNNING WITH A FLU WAS CHALLENGE WITH SHORT BREATH AND COUGHS...  LOL!!!  AND JUMP ROPES WAS EVEN TOUGHER!!!  THE BIKE WAS THE EASIEST...  BUT DOING ALL 3 BACK TO BACK TO BACK WAS SO WORTH IT!!!

THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE THAT COMPLETED DAY ONE:

GENTLE, VALADEZ, TWITCHELL, GREYDANUS, HORN, AND MYSELF!!!  KEEP IT GOING FOLKS...  ALL OF YOU ARE AMAZING PEOPLE!!!

THE POST WORKOUT FEELING IS THE FEELING EVER!!!
